House Division for the Year 2064
A tradition continues as long as it guides and sustains the system. We, human beings, follow it blindly or skeptically and come to add one more brick much stronger and tolerant to fight against the flaws and all corrupted aspects prevalent inside and outside it. Anyway, a tradition always ties all the mechanisms so as to create a harmony in the system and regulates them. And when the time for transference or shift comes in it, the innovative hands and energetic shoulders with noble gusto and zeal have always been ready to take up the responsibilities without any hesitation and deferral. World Environment Day 2007
Environment is everything for us. Without environment, no life exists and to preserve our environment is every human's motto. For the same purpose we celebrate "World Environment Day" on June 5. On this very day we all work on hand to hand to protect and preserve our environment by awaring the people about the harmful effects caused by the deterioration of the environment. We try to make people understand about the importance of environment and its advantages which will help us to live long and healthy life. Read more »

5th Baba Inter-School Basketball Championship
Brihaspati Vidya Sadab clinched 5th Baba Inter-School Basketball Championship. Brishaspati defeated LRI (learning Realm International School) by 32-31 points. LRI put aside RIBS, the defending champion in the semi final and confirmed its place for the final to meet Brihaspati who got the victory over Ideal Modal School. In the junior category, RIBS defeated the Excelsior and won the trophy. 15 different schools around the valley participated in the tournament Started from 24th Bhadra, Baba Basketball tourney concluded on 31st Bhadra though it was halted for two days due to persisting rainfall. Chief guest Mr. Dhruba Pradhan, General Secretary of Nepal Olympic Committee, gave away the trophy and certificates to both the winning team and runner-up. Speaking on the occasion Mr Pradhan opined that such tournament would be a significant step to uplift basketball, which has nowadays become popular among the school students. Read more »

Bhanu Bhakta Jayanti Celebration
193rd Birth Anniversary of the great poet of Nepali Literature Bhanu Bhakta Acharya was celebrated in Baba Boarding High School on 29th Ashad.The garlanding of the photo frame of the great legend was done by Principal Madam, Mrs. Binita Pradhan, who also did the lighting of the lamps. Mr. Hari Sharan Khanal highlighted on the contribution of the great personality. Students also took their keen interest in reciting the famous pieces of poems of the poet. Bhanu Bhakta Acharya has contributed a lot to Nepali Literature as well as Language. He shall always be remembered in history with great respect. Read more »

Celebrating Guru Purnima
Baba students celebrated Guru Purnima. The children decorated their block with different colourful pictures, which they had drawn themselves. They made themselves busy wishing teachers "Happy Teacher's Day". They invited the Principal, Mrs.Binata Pradhan, the Administrator, Mr. Sharan Shrestha and the Director, Mr. Arvind Pradhan to grace the programme by their generous presence. The students welcomed the guests with flowers and multi-coloured tit-bits of paper and wished Happy Teacher's Day. The guests lighted incense sticks in front of Shree Satya Sai Baba. The speeches were given to make the children aware of Guru Purnima Day and importance of teachers in their life. The teachers taught them two beautiful melodious rhymes. All students enjoyed singing the rhymes while the guests were highly delighted seeing them dancing in those beautiful numbers. Chinese Speech Competition
Chinese Speech Competition was held in Kathmandu Plaza. It was the first Chinese Competition. It was held with the co- ordination of the Chinese Ambassador and Chinese language Institutes. 75 students of fifteen schools had participated. It was a tough competition as many reputed schools had taken part. Little participants sang Chinese rhymes and made us thrilled. It was really surprising to see that it has only been a few months that Chinese language has been implemented and the participants were able to recite and sing in Chinese so fluently and confidently. World Environment Day
Baba Boarding High School celebrated World Environment Day organizing a fund collection programme on 5th June. The students of class eight, nine and ten were divided into four groups. Each group was led by two teachers. The house in charges was quite busy to recollect their respective students after the morning assembly. The group led by Mr. Hari Sharan Khanal and Mr. Krishna Nepali went towards Mitrapark, Gausala, Old Baneshwor and its surroundings. The second group led by Mr. Madhav Timilsina, Yellow House In charge and Mr. Thakur Timilsina visited Tushal, Boudha, Jorpati and its surroundings. The third group led by Mr. Sujan Dhakal, Green House In charge and Mr. Santosh Pokharel went door to door of the well wishers parents' and ex- students' houses in Chabahil and Maijubahal areas. The fourth group led by Mrs. Kalpana Shrestha, Red House In charge and Mr Genalal Yadav visited Chabahil, Ganesthan areas. The total amount of the collection was Rs. 8500. Read more »

World Red Cross Day
During the day of May 8th 2006, the "Nepal Red Cross Society" had organized the rally programme for spreading the slogans of immortality, humanity, fraternity etc. In this rally, we, the students of class IX (Nine) and the teachers had participated. There were also many other schools and colleges participated. We, all the students had gathered at Khulamanch, Tundikhel, where the caps and the batches were distributed. Then, we walked carrying the placards around the city. After a long walk, we reached Rastriya Sabha Griha. As we had been tired too much, the snacks and juices were distributed. Read more »

House Flag Investiture Ceremony
It has been the tradition that every year the school organizes House Flag Investiture Ceremony Day. The main objective of this function is to cater the students into four different houses and make them participate in the various competitions throughout the academic session. Finally, the top scoring house would be announced the winner and awarded the Running Trophy at the end of the academic session. Read more »
