Our Curriculum

Our approach to curriculum is through the integrative learning. Our curriculum is not fixed but in an ever evolving process which will be reviewed every time on the basis of the child’s psychological characteristics and natural needs and tendencies. We focus in the practical life exercises education through sensorial experience language arts, mathematics and geometry and cultural subjects which includes other geography, zoology, botany and biology time, history, music, movement, physics and art.

Our best part in students learning in exploring the whole world is through our interdisciplinary themes of global significance that transcends the traditional educational boundaries throughout the pre-school and elementary school. These themes promote an awareness of condition and commonality of human experience.

In the entire curriculum, students learning is very engaging, challenging and relevant of global significance. The hands on activities, hands on materials and interactive classrooms ensure that our children get full support in all their psychological characteristics and natural tendencies.

We strive to abandon from all sorts of traditional pedagogical role by actively teaching and be supportive, encouraging, tolerant, nurturing and positive, towards the child developing process. In addition to this parents are the integral part of the school curriculum.

At our pre-school, stress is placed upon understanding each child and their family as unique, with different needs and concerns. Children’s development is presented under various overlapping phases. This overlap is intended to emphasize the fact that there can be big differences between the developments of children of similar ages. At the same time age can be a sigal, when taken with all other factors, to indicate that development may be unusual and that a child may need extra support.

These various areas of learning and development highlight all future learning by supporting, fostering, promoting and developing children. We focus the following areas.

  • Personal, Social and Emotional Development.
  • Communication,Language and Literacy.
  • Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy.
  • Knowledge and Understanding of the World.
  • Physical development and Creative Development.

Parents involvement

Parents involvement in our pre-school has different meanings and experiences. We believe that the parents are a major part of our education program. The pre-school program is incomplete without the involvement of parents and so the teachers work consistently in fostering the relationship between the teachers, the students and the parents. Parents are involved at every step of our children's education program as constructive as possible. The pre-school also provides opportunities to take part in its regular parents, seminars and workshops. These programs are unique, very informative and educational which build confidence as a parent. In addition parents will also have counseling sessions in case the development problem of the child.

Pre-school environment

The environment of all our pre-school is based, on the principle of , help me to do by myself. Therefore everything is prepared to help the child's independence and confidence. All the furniture's are child size to help to develop children's independence and self esteem. All the toys and the learning materials are displayed neatly in low shelves so that the child can reach them easily. Our procedures and rooms the designed to encourage health, independence and good habit. We have designed the bathroom in such a way that children can use them as needed, without adult intervention. Child-sized sinks and bathroom are always available to the children as we require hand washing before eating, after bathroom visits and at other appropriate times to encourage good personal habits.
