196th Bhanu Bhakta Jayanti Celetration
Baba boarding High school has been organizing valley wise inter school elocution competition on the eve of the great Nepali Poet Bhanu Bhakta Acharya for a long time. On the 196th Birthday of Bhanu Bhakta, school organized an elocution completion entitled “Continued Bandha and its in educational sector”. The chief guest of the program was one of the great Nepali literary figure and president of Gorkhapatra Sansthan Bijay Chalise. In the program literary personality Bhawani Ghimire was felicitated with Letter of Appreciation. The well known figure of Nepali literature Pro. Dr. Laxmikanta Panthi, Mukunda Dahal, Shanti Risal, Ram Bahadur Pahadi, Kavi Prashad Pyakurel and Prayag Raj Vashistha were other invitees and guests. Mr. Hari Sharan Khanal highlighted the contribution of Bhanu Bhakta Acharay and elaborated the cause of organizing such events yearly. Prayag Raj Vashistha thanked everyone for participation and highlighted the school’s performance in education, sports, literature, etc. The school organized internal poetry recitation competition Bhanu Bhakta. In the valley wise elocution competition, Prakat Neupane of Hindu Vidhyapith, Geeta Baniya of Pashupati Mitra Ma. Vi. and Kamala Lama of Baba stood first, second and third positions respectively. Ashma Bidari of Ureka School, Richa Gautam of Bright Future and Shree Ram Chalise of Sanskrit Ma. Vi. got consolations prizes. In the internal competitions Shristika Rai got first position, Ekatashree Rana second, Sandhya Rai third and Sonam Chhoti Sherpa got consolation prizes.
