BABA BOARDING HIGH SCHOOL, a co-education English medium school was founded in 1980 by late founder principal Mr.T.B.Pradhan with the intention of promoting all round development of students in a congenial educational environment through creative teaching methods. It is a permanently registered institution under the ministry of education of Nepal Government.
This School is envisaged as a school with difference. A school that teaches children to be global citizens while retaining their Nepali roots and value is designed as a modern school and well equipped with advanced educational aids and technologies. Baba provides education to pave the way for realizing the unlimited potentials and possibilities
that every human being is bestowed with.

A driving force behind the Baba School Program is an adopted philosophy about the various components and the nature of International education which especially promotes to develop students who recognize their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet and to help to create a better and more peaceful world and struggles to establish their personal sets of values.
In BSP, the students are characterized by series of attributes and traits that are expressed by them for International perspective. The whole concept is to emphasize the education based on value then just academic grades.
So, how the school promotes International education is by practicing and supporting the teachers and students in the school community by making them to be Inquirers, Knowledgeable

The school organizes ongoing professional development for teachers to understand the needs of the 21st century children and to learn effective teaching and learning process to satisfy the thirst of knowledge of the children.
In all the subject curriculum, students learning is very engaging, challenging and relevant of global significance that transcends the confines of traditional educational boundaries. Thematic Approach
This is newly introduced teaching-learning method in Baba School Programme. Thematic approach of teaching method is a way of teaching and learning whereby many areas of the curriculum are connected together and integrated within a theme. It allows learning to be more natural and less fragmented then the way where a school day is time divided into difficult subject areas. Children practice exercises frequently related to nothing other than what the teacher thinks up, as he or she writes them on the chalk board. It allows literacy to grow progressively, with vocabulary linked and with spelling and sentence writing being frequently yet smoothly reinforced it guides connected ideas to follow on easily.
It is after all, how we, as a adults learn new things. Don't we start at a point of interest and branch out from it like from a stone thrown in the water?
The result of working the thematic approach way is that often children will have fun will be more actively involved, will develop learning skills more quickly as each one is connected to and reinforced by the other and will be more confident and hetter motivated and present fewer discipline problems.
